Our team are all fully qualified having studied at University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Podiatry.

We are all members of The Royal College of Podiatry and HCPC* Registered. HCPC* is the Health and Care professions council. They keep a register of health and care professionals who meet their standards for training, professional skills, behaviour and health.

We conduct internal training sessions regularly and attend professional development courses to ensure we are up to date with the latest developments in Podiatry Care.

Jackie Johnston BSc. (Hons) – Clinical Director

Jackie graduated from Queen Margaret University in 1995 being awarded a BSc in Podiatry with 1st class honours. Declining the opportunity to study for a PhD, she chose to specialise in private practice and opened Blackhall Podiatry.

Jackie no longer provides “hands on treatment” and has stepped into an administrative and mentoring roll. However, her experience and qualifications in immunology and medical microbiology continue to ensure that the clinic is managed with highest standards of infection control and clinical practice. Jackie enjoys playing Lawn Bowls and pottering in her garden.

Rhys Taylor BSc (Hons)

Member of The Royal College of Podiatry and HCPC* Registered

Rhys graduated from Queen Margaret University in 2016 with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry. Rhys started his career in the far North of Scotland in Caithness before returning nearer to home to continue his career in Dunfermline and Edinburgh. Rhys enjoys all aspects of Podiatry and treats patients with all types of Podiatry needs.

Out of work Rhys plays rugby, fishes and is usually planning a mountain to climb!

Roz Sheerins BSc

Member of The Royal College of Podiatry and HCPC* Registered

Roz Graduated from Queen Margaret University in 1994 with a BSc in Podiatry. Roz is an experienced general practitioner with a special interest in skin conditions affecting the lower limbs.

Before Roz studied Podiatry she was a Nurse working in Dermatology, Paediatrics and Care of the Elderly.

When Roz isn’t working she enjoys walking and gardening.

Michaela Bell BSc (Hons)

Member of The Royal College of Podiatry and HCPC* Registered

Michaela graduated from Queen Margaret University in 2010 being awarded a BSc in Podiatry with 1st class honours. Prior to retraining, Michaela undertook a degree in Health and Community Studies and has taken courses in several complementary therapies in her spare time. Michaela has worked in private practice since qualifying and especially enjoys providing footcare in the home environment.

Outside work, Michaela enjoys keeping fit by running, walking and dancing.

Justyna March BSc (Hons)

Justyna graduated from Queen Margaret University in 2011 being awarded a BSc with Honours in Podiatry. Justyna has 10 valuable years’ experience in private practice and has a special interest in the impact of Diabetes on Foot Health.

When Justyna is not working she enjoys D.I.Y., Gardening and Cycling.

Laura Scott BSc

Member of The Royal College of Podiatry and HCPC* Registered

Laura graduated from Queen Margaret University in 1997 with a BSc in Podiatry.
Having formerly been a Dental Nurse specialising in Oral Surgery, her established clinical skills usefully transfer to podiatric practice.

Her main interests include Diabetes, Dermatology and Nail Surgery. When Laura is not working within the clinic she loves to fish, walk her dog and sing.

Jo Page BSc (Hons)

Member of The Royal College of Podiatry and HCPC registered*

Jo graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2023 with a BSc 1st class honours in Podiatry. Jo started her Podiatry career with NHS Fife which provided intensive experience of Diabetic wound care and Musculoskeletal conditions affecting the lower limbs. Jo is now enjoying working in private practice in Edinburgh, closer to home. When Jo’s not working she keeps fit cycling, running and taking long walks with her Cocker Spaniel, Phoebe.
